Is there minimum number of people to join a group buy?
No, but it is most likely that a group with more participants will have a stronger negotiating power. Also we suggest nominating a lead individual in the group who will initiate the negotiation process with the dealership and share the discount information to the group members.
How can I gather members?
You may initiate the negotiations with dealerships and share the discounted information and required number of participating people thru the forum. We recommend the information to be as specific as possible so potential participants are aware of the dealerships requirements.
Can we buy multiple manufactures of vehicles from different dealers?
We don’t recommend buying cars from multiple dealerships and manufactures. As a group, you should target a single manufacture and its available models. However, you may be able to negotiate with multiple dealerships of that targeted manufacture for better pricing.
Do you have a participating dealer?
As of today, we do not have affiliations with any dealerships. We hope to have future sponsorships from dealerships as our membership grows.
How do I know if a dealer is giving a discount?
We highly recommend our members to do some research about the cars they are targeting prior to contacting the dealer. Knowing the vehicle invoice price, dealer incentives, rebates, manufacturer’s incentives, and various financial offers will improve your negotiating power.
Should I give out my financial and personal information to group members?
Do not disclose your financial and personal information to any of group members in any way. Please remember that we do not take responsibility for any frauds occurred as a result.
What do I do after the group member reaches a targeted number?
A group leader may have the negotiation already processed with a dealership with a targeted discount price that was agreed on. You as a group may go directly to a dealer when ready to sign.
